Why PackedPaws Exists

In 2025, I spent months living in Cebu, Philippines. What started as an adventure turned into something much more meaningful.

Cebu is a beautiful island — but its streets are home to thousands of stray dogs and cats. What struck me most wasn't just the animals. It was the everyday people who fed them despite having little to spare. Locals leaving food outside their doors. Tricycle drivers stopping to give water to a dog in the heat. Resilient people, caring for resilient animals.

That experience never left me.

I'm Alex. I came home and built PackedPaws almost immediately — because I couldn't stop thinking about those animals, and I wanted to do something about it.

What We're Building

PackedPaws is a carefully selected collection of travel gear for the dogs and cats lucky enough to have a seat in the car, a spot on the trail, and someone who packs for them. Every product we carry is chosen for practicality and durability — because your pet deserves gear that keeps up.

But we're building something bigger than a store.

$1 from every PackedPaws sale goes toward supporting stray dog and cat rescue efforts in Cebu.

We're still finding the right local partners to work with — organizations we can trust and verify firsthand. When we return to Cebu, we'll be donating directly to the rescuers doing the real work on the ground. We believe in full transparency — as we grow, we'll share exactly where your contribution goes and the impact it makes.

The Bigger Picture

If PackedPaws succeeds, the plan is to go back to Cebu — to be closer to the cause, the community, and the animals that inspired all of this.
