Every breeder considered for this directory is evaluated on:
- Generation transparency (F1–F5 clearly documented with verified pedigrees)
- TICA registration and serval lineage documentation
- Health testing (HCM cardiac screening, relevant genetic panels)
- Proper kitten socialization (people, pets, environments)
- Clear health guarantees and contracts
- Ethical, no-pressure communication practices
- Awareness of and compliance with state/local legal restrictions
